Ohio, Grandchildren and Memories....

Should have been a March posting, but I'm behind...what can I say.
Telisha and Nate are expecting their 4th child.  Telisha usually doesn't feel too well during the first bit of pregnancy, and the same held true this time....so....I was able to fly out and visit for a week.  We got some dinners put in the freezer, read to the kids, helped sing them to sleep (okay, not really, but one can wish)....helped Telisha get out of the house and even got to help celebrate a birthday!  I loved being with my grandchildren and T and Nate!  What a great family!
Reading at the library...Tanner on the left and Owen on the right (as you're looking at the picture)

The weather was summer-like almost the entire time I was there!
Nate gave baseball instructions one evening.  They loved it!
We tried to help Sidney keep her eyes open while watching the ball...
Tanner must have known the camera was on him, as he sure gave us the true baseball look...

....and I quickly learned who had inherited mom's "tongue" while concentrating....

Darling Telisha after her beauty makeover....gets more darling every day!
Picnic at the park...

Two cutie patooties if you ask me....!

Sunday - playing before church and before I had to go home.

Thanks for the fun time I loved being there and miss you all!

And Then There Was None....

Our Young Mens Basketball team has now played all the teams in the Stake and "none" have beaten us...
At this point, Landon is the highest scoring young men's player of the Stake and we are the highest scoring team in the Stake by over 100 points for the season....now that's impressive, don't ya think?!?!
More pics for remembering....and yes, they continue to be of Landon.
This game was an intense game and a fun challenge, but we managed to take the win with a 53-39 score.

The Streak Continues....but how long will it last?

Enumclaw 1st Ward Young Men Basketball have taken two more wins, which leaves them still undefeated.  We continue to be loyal fans and anxiously watch each game with eager anticipation of a win....Stake Tournament creeps in closer and we only hope the score continues to be on our side.....
We've got some great team players who are pretty darn slick on the court!
....but the pictures are all of Landon....yes he is the star of our blog at this time....and we love him!

He really took out the young man that is directly behind Landon's knee's....Landon felt kind of bad about it...but the young man seemed to be okay.  Landon went over to him later to make sure he was alright...Landon's good that way.  PS...Landon did make the basket, just in case you were wondering.

Another Amazing Jump!

Enumclaw 1st Ward Basketball continues to be undefeated!
We played Buckley 1st Ward, which is one of our more challenging teams.....and we pulled ahead during the second half of the game, ending with a 46-28 score.  We won't mention that they we missing some of their key players and only had 5 players, meaning they had no one to sub in.  Yes, we exhausted them...and loved it.

I thought I'd throw in a picture of Landon's school friends.  Landon invites this group over to play basketball at the church building on occasion.  I go to hang out so they have an adult there.  I think these guys love having a nice facility to hang out in....great missionary work Landon!
A couple of them play for our church ball games.

Northwest Storm of the Century!...or so they say...

The Storm of the Century has come and gone!  We were all home for the entire week...Eldon and I worked from home and Landon had snow days for the entire week!  Our power went out for a number of hours on Thursday...but we were lucky enough to have it come back on.  There are families in our ward that are still without power, so were have been able to enjoy the weather....

If you look close, it started to rain and freeze ontop of the ice, which then made the landscape look really cool, with ice drops on top of the ice....

 ice drops....

Eldon had Landon climb into one of our trees to cut down the damaged limbs.  He had the chainsaw attached to a rope which they put over a limb, Eldon would hold onto the rope in case Landon fell or slipped....that way it kept the chainsaw from falling with or on Landon if he fell or slipped.  Clever idea they learned from some other "tree chainsaw climbers".
Side note:  Eldon and Landon worked for over 5 hours at the church building helping clean up the broken limbs from the trees on the church property.

Snow has been replaced by rain and is now gone...it never lasts too long around here.
Somebody needs to help me upload videos.....!  :)
